How does it work?
Participants are split into teams facing a variety of accessible challenges. The immersive experience takes place across fortress towers, shadowy underground passages, and a surprising stage on the windy North Sea beach. Observation, logic, agility and coordination are vital to progress or escape. Teams rotate through the adventure, but only the most united and strategic can hope to pull off the great escape.
Sub-activity choices
This teambuilding activity offers a range of sub-activities. After you choose to partner with us, we’ll guide you in selecting the options that best fit your schedule, preferences, and objectives.
Observation tower
The guards have a clear view of the surroundings from the roof of the fort. But what do you see when you take a look? Will the coordinates on the tower help you find a way out of the fort?
The key to escape
Prisoners with good memory skills have an advantage here. Your challenge is a real life memory game. Try to find the two matching keys to score points for your way out.
Beach please!
The guards are in a good mood and will let you out for a moment. Time to enjoy the Belgian coast. Create your own prisoner sandcastle!
Morse code
An old telegraph machine is hidden in the fort. It is used to send encrypted messages. Search through the logbooks and you’ll find some very important information to share with your teammates — by morse code.
Escape for dummies
Preparation is vital. This physical challenge will transform you into a new prisoner. You’ll have the skills and training to become an escape expert. Power and agility will help you.
The tunnel
How do most prisoners escape from their cells? By tunnel. It’s important to know that you’ll have to go the right way, otherwise you’ll end up walking in circles. Can you keep focused in a dark, underground passage?
Brain teaser
The teams need to solve three difficult puzzles as quickly as possible:
- Colour brain teaser: 16 coloured blocks need to create one construction, without the same colour reappearing in the same vertical, horizontal or diagonal line.
- Labyrinth: In groups of two or four, teams guide a ball through the wooden labyrinth.
- Magical squares: Make a nine-block square, with each vertical, horizontal and diagonal line adding up to 15. Alternatively, you might have 16 blocks that add up to 34 vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. You know how to do it … But will you finish first?
Reflex game
The equipment you need to play the game and win is hanging above your head. When the keys fall down, you’ll need to catch them. You’ll need them for your escape. This reflex test is perfect anyone who reacts quickly.
Electric wired box
Lots of security systems work on electricity. This challenge will take place in the command centre of the Fort. Are you able to dismantle and interrupt the electronic circuit to create a good escape moment?
The giant balance test
You need good analytic skills to escape. You also need to be agile and flexible. Do you have a good body balance? You’ll find out on this giant balance test.
Competition vs Collaboration
For those who prefer collaboration over competition, a cooperative version is also offered: all teams join forces to obtain the key and escape together.
Options
For an even deeper immersion, optional prisoner-striped costumes are available to strengthen team spirit and collective experience.
An exciting and immersive experience full of adrenaline, cleverness, and camaraderie, where each team pushes its limits to ultimately seize freedom.
Benefits of the teambuilding
This activity blends agility, strategy and teamwork within a unique historic setting. Teams must outwit vigilant guards and complete intellectual, physical, and creative challenges to get closer to the key. Each success brings them nearer to escape, but only those who collaborate effectively and make smart decisions will prevail. It’s a thrilling race against time, packed with adrenaline and team spirit!
Competition
Ignite motivation with competitive teambuilding! Fun challenges to drive performance and team success.
Strategic Thinking
Develop strategic thinking with immersive teambuilding! Enhance planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Fun
Lighthearted activities to spark joy and team bonding. Laugh, play, and enjoy!
Kompanjon
At Team Masters, we believe a strong event can mean so much more. That’s why we support Kompanjon vzw, an organisation that connects higher education students with socially vulnerable families to provide in-home study guidance. In this way, we contribute to equal educational opportunities and a hopeful future for every child.
What does this partnership involve?
Team Masters provides Kompanjon with annual financial and organisational support. In addition, we include a voluntary contribution (between €50 and €150 per project) in our proposals, which – upon approval – is transferred in full to Kompanjon. Clients may also choose to donate directly via www.kompanjon.be/steun-ons (donations from €40 are eligible for a tax certificate).
Why Kompanjon?
Kompanjon makes a tangible difference. By involving students as a bridge between school and home, they strengthen not only children, but entire families. With our support – and that of our clients – they can grow, reach more families, and increase their impact.
Choosing Team Masters means choosing impact.
