Battle of the Tables

How does it work?

Each table becomes a team. Upon arrival, guests will find two iPads elegantly integrated into their table setting. The quiz unfolds over several rounds, combining multiple-choice questions, visual challenges, audio clips, speed rounds, and logic puzzles. Some rounds allow teams to bet on their answers or on other tables, adding an exciting layer of strategy and suspense.

Just before dessert, it’s time for the big reveal: the host announces live the team with the highest score. Applause, trophies, and photo opportunities follow! The evening concludes with a cheerful award ceremony celebrating teamwork, clever thinking, and a dash of daring.

Asian Arts

Step into the captivating world of the Far East and discover traditional Asian arts through a series of immersive challenges designed to strengthen team cohesion.

Asian Arts

How does it work?

The experience begins in a real dojo, filled with silence, discipline, and respect. The Sensei enters — imposing and strict — setting the rules, reminding participants of the Samurai tradition, and introducing teams to the codes of this millennia-old culture. Following a brief Tai Chi session designed to centre each person’s energy, participants are ready to begin their journey.

Teams then rotate through carefully crafted challenges that embody the spirit of ancient arts. Each task invites participants to push their limits, demonstrate precision in cooperation, and cultivate balance between body and mind.

.

The experience unfolds through a selection of varied trials showcasing multiple facets of Oriental culture. After each activity, participants receive stars as a symbol of their involvement, assessed by our facilitators. The solemn gong signals the transition between stages, enhancing the ritualistic and immersive atmosphere throughout the day.

Finally, the experience concludes with a guided reflection: an interactive debrief highlighting observed team dynamics, key learnings, and parallels with the professional environment. This reflective moment turns the experience into a powerful lever for cohesion, growth, and collective awareness.

Sub-activity choices

This team-building activity consists of a variety of fun and diverse sub-activities. Once you decide to partner with us, we’re happy to help you choose the options that best fit your schedule, preferences, and objectives.

Painting China

No vase is as precious as one from the Ming dynasty — and a true samurai masters the art of refinement. In this communication challenge, teams work together to convey a message, with each member creating their own piece of the whole. As a tangible reminder, everyone takes home their self-painted soup bowl.

Fukiya

The fukiya is a blowgun that’s 2.5 metres long. For centuries it was the preferred weapon of the ninja. It is up to the teams to give their fukiyas the most creative appearance possible. Afterwards? It’s time for the ultimate shooting test. A real warrior never misses!

Eastern Etiquette

From the start of this activity, the sensei lets the participants experience the feel and atmosphere of a Japanese dojo. But of course, there are a lot of unwritten rules and practices to be followed. The teams are taught the right way to act: fun and educational!

Eastern Calligraphy

You’ll see them on every market square: Chinese artists painting names in elegant characters. Now it’s your turn. Under the guidance of a sinologist, teams will learn to calligraph their names on rice paper.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a centuries-old Chinese form of movement, based on the theory of the five elements: water, wood, fire, earth and metal. Together, soft, round movements, performed standing or sitting, form specific patterns that bring the energy in the body into harmony with the mind.

Aikido

In the list of Eastern fighting styles, Aikido stands head and shoulders above the others. It’s man against man, without anything to help. It also forms the foundation for certain fight techniques that we will practise with a few weapons: the Jo – a long pole – and the Bokken – a wooden samurai sword.

.

We can easily replace the core challenges with tasks from this selection. Please note this may involve a price difference.

Sumo wrestling

Sumo wrestling is a traditional sport. The idea is to push and pull your opponent until they fall down. But be warned: sumo wrestling requires fitness, especially in the laughing muscles of the onlookers. Make sure you have your camera ready!

Chinese kites

A kite was a status symbol, a sign of clan and family. With nylon thread, wood and a square metre of material, the teams make their own decorated kites, all under the supervision of an experienced kiter. Fly to it!

Sushi

You need to do more than defeat your adversaries to become a samurai. It’s a lifestyle. One of its most important elements comes from the kitchen — small bite-sized pieces of fish, vegetables and egg, with vinegar for flavour, and serviced with rice: sushi. Yes, raw fish. The participants are tested on their cooking abilities and the knowledge they have acquired from the sushi chefs. Which team will make everything with the right ingredients?

Taiko drums

For centuries, the Japanese have used the taiko when hunting: to lure prey or scare away wild animals. It is also ideal for communicating or encouraging soldiers in the heat of battle. It’s not as easy as it looks, but it’s guaranteed to be fun!

Tea ceremony

For this sub-challenge, teams step into the world of genuine tjanojoe (Japanese for hot tea water’). Seated around a wicker table, they must immerse themselves in a centuries-old tea ritual. This is a true test of focus and mindfulness, where Eastern culture challenges their inner calm.

Yoga

We welcome the teams onto the mat for a moment of genuine yuj (Sanskrit for to unite’ or yoga’). Moving together through a gentle flow of ancient postures, everyone learns to reconnect with their breath and release the tension of the day. The ideal time for Eastern philosophy to bring back true balance.

Asian Arts offers a unique and immersive experience where ancient Eastern traditions and values, such as discipline, respect, and harmony, are translated into practical activities that strengthen team spirit, foster collaboration, and promote sustainable growth within your team.

Options

To deepen the experience, and depending on your preferences and budget, the venue can be transformed with full scenography, or the immersion extended with an elegant Asian dinner, faithful to the spirit of the day.

Benefits of the teambuilding

At first glance, Asian Arts appears to be a series of challenges inspired by Eastern traditions. However, behind this playful façade lies a profoundly transformative experience. By completing these trials, your teams will discover unique values from the Oriental world that are highly relevant to work life: discipline, respect, concentration, and harmony. Every step, every movement, every decision becomes a learning opportunity. Asian Arts is not just a moment of relaxation and fun: it is an immersion that sustainably transforms your team’s dynamics in unexpected ways.

The Infinite Loop

A hacker is trapped in a virtual loop: it’s up to you to set him free using virtual reality! Collaboration, logic and full immersion are your most powerful tools.

Escape gamesTechBusiness
The Infinite Loop

How does it work?

Each team receives a VR headset, a controller, and a game manual. One player enters the virtual world through the VR headset and describes what they see. Meanwhile, the other team members use the printed manual to search for clues, solve puzzles.

By listening carefully and working closely together, the team cracks new codes step by step, bringing them closer to finding John. Once a door opens, roles are switched and the next player puts on the headset. As the game progresses, the puzzles become increasingly challenging — but smart teams recognize patterns and continuously refine their approach.

A central screen displays real-time progress, allowing teams to track their performance and engage in friendly competition. The objective? Rescue John!

The Infinite Loop merges cutting-edge VR technology with teamwork and process improvement, enabling teams not only to sharpen their communication skills, but also to optimize their workflows in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Benefits of the teambuilding

This game introduces participants to the world of virtual reality, seamlessly integrating it with key principles of the LEAN methodology. It challenges teams to strengthen their communication and listening skills, think critically and logically, and continuously improve processes. In doing so, teams develop technical, analytical, and collaboration skills while enhancing their adaptability.

Process Improvement

Kompanjon

Kompanjon

At Team Masters, we believe a strong event can mean so much more. That’s why we support Kompanjon vzw, an organisation that connects higher education students with socially vulnerable families to provide in-home study guidance. In this way, we contribute to equal educational opportunities and a hopeful future for every child.

What does this partnership involve?
Team Masters provides Kompanjon with annual financial and organisational support. In addition, we include a voluntary contribution (between €50 and €150 per project) in our proposals, which – upon approval – is transferred in full to Kompanjon. Clients may also choose to donate directly via www.kompanjon.be/steun-ons (donations from €40 are eligible for a tax certificate).

Why Kompanjon?
Kompanjon makes a tangible difference. By involving students as a bridge between school and home, they strengthen not only children, but entire families. With our support – and that of our clients – they can grow, reach more families, and increase their impact.

Choosing Team Masters means choosing impact.
