How do you bring 160 colleagues together in a programme that is energetic, connecting and challenging at the same time? For Elia, Team Masters and Event Masters developed an original two-day Trophy on the grounds of Château de Beez. Not a standard teambuilding activity, but a fully tailor-made team experience where fun, challenge, collaboration and experience came together.

Elia’s challenge

Elia wanted to organise a multi-day event that would connect colleagues in a different way. The objective was clear: bring teams together outside their everyday working environment, stimulate collaboration, challenge participants and create space for fun, encounters and informal contacts.

It was also important that the concept remained accessible to different profiles. Not every participant looks for the same level of physical challenge or competitive intensity. That is why the programme needed enough variety, with room for both relaxation and real challenge.

The answer from Team Masters and Event Masters

Together with our colleagues of Event Masters we translated this request into a tailor-made two-day Trophy concept. The strength of the proposal lay in the combination of a strong teambuilding format and a complete event experience.

Team Masters developed a varied programme with team assignments centred around collaboration, communication, strategy and trust. Event Masters took care of the logistical framework, the event flow, the venue set-up and the overall experience from arrival to closing.

The 40 teams of four participants could register in advance via an online platform and choose between two categories: Fun or Challenge. This allowed everyone to take part in their own way, without losing the competitive energy of the Trophy.

An original programme in a unique setting

The grounds of Château de Beez formed the perfect backdrop for this two-day event. The green environment, available space and unique atmosphere of the location made it possible to combine an adventurous outdoor programme with comfort and hospitality.

Participants took part in different rotations, including outdoor challenges, medieval games, archery and the Escape the Plague teambuilding activity. Each challenge was designed to push teams in a different way: sometimes strategically, sometimes physically, sometimes playfully, but always with a focus on competition.

The group dynamic was also strengthened outside the activities. A shared lunch, a convivial barbecue, overnight stays in tents per team and a closing awards ceremony turned the Trophy into a complete multi-day experience.

Smart organisation, down to the details

The Elia Trophy took place in temperatures of around 30°C. This required a flexible and well-considered approach. The programme was smartly structured, with enough breaks, attention to comfort and refreshing touches along the way. This kept the energy high and allowed everyone to participate fully.

The combination of preparation, guidance and on-site experience made the difference. Participants enjoyed a smooth and well-organised event, while behind the scenes every detail was carefully managed: timing, rotations, safety, catering, logistics and participant comfort.

The result

The Elia Trophy became a successful two-day event in which competition, fun and collaboration strengthened each other perfectly. By having participants work together in small teams and spreading the programme over two days, there was more room for genuine connection.

For Elia, the event delivered exactly what it needed to: take colleagues out of their familiar context, activate teams, stimulate collaboration and create a shared experience that would continue to resonate long afterwards.

For Team Masters and Event Masters, this case was a strong example of the power of an integrated approach: an original teambuilding concept, fully tailored to the client, supported by strong event organisation and a strategic view on experience.

Together even better was not just a slogan during the Elia Trophy, but an experience the participants could truly feel.
