Impact

Impact is an engaging and interactive teambuilding activity, fully focused on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This app-based game gives participants the chance to gain insight into global challenges and the solutions needed for a better future in a dynamic and playful way. As teams explore the SDGs, they are encouraged to collaborate, think strategically, and take concrete actions that contribute to a more sustainable world.

This activity is more than just a game. It raises awareness of crucial topics such as poverty reduction, climate action, and sustainable economies, while actively engaging teams in a series of mental, physical, and strategic challenges. Impact combines learning, teamwork, and action, allowing participants to not only understand the SDGs but also experience how they can make a difference. By taking part, each team directly contributes to sustainable initiatives through the B1G1 donor organisation, making this game a truly socially responsible teambuilding experience.

Teams begin with an introduction to the SDGs, after which they set off with a tablet and a specially developed app. The challenges vary in difficulty and cover different SDGs, including poverty reduction, hunger, gender equality, climate action, and clean energy. The tasks can be both mentally and physically demanding, pushing teams to think strategically and work together. By submitting answers through the app, teams earn points and move up the leaderboard. Each successfully completed challenge not only boosts their score but also deepens their awareness of the global impact of sustainable initiatives.

At the end of the game, the impact created during the event via B1G1 is shared with the participants. Teams discover how many sustainable projects have been supported through their participation and how their efforts directly contribute to the three B1G1 SDG bundles: Active Economy, Harmonious Society, and Clean Earth. During the debriefing, the best photos of the event are reviewed, and the winning teams are announced.
