Beat The Box as a kick-off experience for young potentials

The consultancy firm organises multiple training and development weeks for young potentials from across Europe at Dolce La Hulpe every year. During this intensive week, participants are immersed in the company culture and challenged to enhance their strategic thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

The client was looking for an interactive and impactful teambuilding activity that would bring young talents together in a dynamic way and immediately challenge them in strategic thinking, communication, and teamwork.

Team Masters introduced Beat The Box as the kick-off experience for the training week. This immersive escape game concept offers participants a thrilling race against the clock, where they must solve puzzles and riddles to decipher the ultimate code. Only through effective collaboration and strategic insight could the teams overcome this challenge.

How does it work?

• The participants were divided into teams of 5 to 10 people.
• Each team received a locked aluminium case and was given the first clues via a mysterious video.
• Inside the case, they found four additional locked boxes, each filled with challenging puzzles and codes.
• Step by step, the teams had to unravel the riddles and gather crucial information.
• In the final box, each team discovers letters. By assembling them into a sentence, they find the key to stop the countdown.
